About Kgabo Cars

Kgabo Cars was established in the year 2001 with the purpose of supplying professional automotive services and repairs to the public and provide skills development to youth in motor mechanics. We currently serve the entire Greater Tshwane; Gauteng and Limpopo. Our business is two-fold: firstly we repair; maintain and service vehicles of all makes and models with modern equipment at our dedicated business premises in Soshanguve Township where it all started.

About Principal Member (Isaac Boshomane)

  • Isaac Boshomane is a qualified technician, trainer, instructor, assessor, moderator, mentor, skills development facilitator and ETD practitioner. He attained various qualifications and diplomas from INDLELA, Pretoria West College of Engineering, Pretoria University and RAU. Isaac has worked at Soshanguve Technical High School, Pretoria West College of Engineering,
  • He worked at Toyota, then Sosh Tech High School, Tshwane South College and Mercedes-Benz. He is involved in the business on a full-time basis and shares his wealth of about 30 years automotive experience with staff members and students alike.
“By the time I reached grade 6 I loved cars and I wanted to know how to fix them” – says lsaac. He and the rest of the staff here at Kgabo Cars are not just passionate about cars but also about helping and developing the community. We often hold free instructional and motivational workshops at the surrounding schools and regarding this love for helping others Isaac often remarks: “You cannot put a price on the feeling you get from training someone and watching them become a success in their own right.”
 
  • To date Kgabo Cars members and apprentices experienced Productivity SA’s workplace Challenge World Class training and 2016 finalist; have been part of World Skills Competitions in 2016; experienced firsthand information from his participation in RMI’s National Executive Training Committee and merSETA Motor Chamber, 2017 Township Entrepreneur Awards finalists. More focus is towards grade 8 and grade 9 career awareness, career development and career guidance which will assist them with career choices in grade 10 saving time and money while reducing Tertiary Education drop outs.
